Selection of the Employee Database (EDB) Inquiry Link
The following page will be displayed –

Enter one of the record keys at the bottom of the screen, Employee Name,
SSN (Social Security Number, 9 digits) or ID (Employee ID, 9 digits – begins
with an ‘8’). Pressing the Select button will take you to the Browse screen.
If you click on one of the buttons in the left frame that page will display
the requested information for the selected employee: the record key must be
unique and match a record on the EDB. If not unique, a partial name match
for example, or doesn’t match a record on the EDB, the Browse page will be
displayed.

Note the partial name record key that was entered is not unique so the Browse
page is displayed even though the Personal button was pressed. Clicking on the
ID link for the employee will display the Employee Selection page with the employee
information in the header frame at the top of the page. Pressing a button in the
left frame will then display the page with the requested data. Pressing other
buttons in the left frame once an employee is selected will display that page
for the same employee. Entering a new record key at the bottom of the page allows
you to select another employee’s data to display on the same page.
If the scroll bars appear on the bottom or right side of your browser window,
use them to view the additional information on the page that doesn’t fit in the
current window.
If you want to print the page, use the Printer Friendly
button to display only the main frame and press it before using the
toolbar printer icon or the File/Print pull down menu.
Use the Main Menu and Logoff links at the top of the page to leave the EDB
Inquiry module.
